The BlockchainGov Newsletter #9 | February Monthly Report
Welcome back everyone to our monthly newsletter! This month we have a shorter issue with relatively few updates. But we are warming up for the good season, so get ready for what’s coming next.
I. Research
Technically this came out in January but we somehow lost it: our friends at Kleros prepared a Report on Jamilya Kamalova’s last year visit at Hong Kong University. Jamilya spent four weeks in bustling Hong Kong, one of the global capitals of bleeding-edge technology on a visit to conduct research, as well as fostering collaboration with colleagues at HKU. Read the report here.
II. Events
On the 7th of February, Dr. Morshed Mannan presented and discussed his paper 'Blockchain Constitutionalism' at King’s Business School, an event organized by FinWork Futures. FinWork Futures is an interdisciplinary research center investigating the future of financial work and the challenges and opportunities that new technologies raise for the financial professions. We will post a recording as soon as it is made available.
During NFT Paris, our director Primavera de Filippi exhibited her legendary blockchain-based lifeform Plantoid, now enhanced with AI.
This is everything for now! See you next month!
